After a wonderful day at the Tournament Player’s Club at Sawgrass, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon a cute little waterfront restaurant nearby that looked perfect for a post-golf bite to eat. As per usual, we requested a seat on the outside patio, and went on to enjoy a very relaxing and romantic dinner.
The atmosphere was casual and the staff was very nice. I love dining outside in the fresh air, and being right beside the water makes it even more enjoyable for a nature lover like me.
My boyfriend ordered these oysters to start. I’m not an oyster person, but he was very pleased with the course. “They were fresh and how they should be.” He ordered a half dozen, but by some fluke received a full dozen and wasn’t charged for the extra six.
For the main course I had the Alaskan snow crab legs with seasonal vegetables, garlic twice baked potato, and hush puppies. Delicious and satisfying.
My boyfriend got the linguine with clams. I quote, “It’s the best I’ve had yet.”
Having no expectations whatsoever, I can say that this restaurant was a delightful and welcome surprise. I definitely look forward to returning. In fact, we’ll be having some house guests soon that specifically requested seafood, so I think this is where we’ll take them. Can’t wait!
Oh, and they have Sunday brunch!! I look forward to trying their steak and eggs :)
